The work done by Hove Renovations was of an excellent standard. We were particularly impressed by the care and attention to detail shown, and how Calum and his team went the extra mile to ensure we were happy with they work completed.
The whole team working on our house were all very friendly which made the whole process really easy. A considerable amount of work was needed on our property. We had both firewalls rebuilt, the chimney rendered and all external walls patched up and painted. Although more work was required than anticipated, Calum ensured everything was completed quickly and to a very high standard.

Hove renovations did a cracking job of my flat, I’m so pleased with the result. Callum and his team were always polite and friendly, their attention to detail resulted in such a high quality finish and they really took pride in their work. I had almost a complete renovation of my 2 bed, decorating, opening up a wall, new flooring, tiling, upgrading the kitchen etc and really recommend their services. So much so, my close friends booked them straight after. I found them because they did works on the previous building I lived in and the quality was evident. Even if they’re not the cheapest quote you receive I really suggest considering HR as you won’t be left with any nasty surprises!

Hove Renovations undertook a complete renovation and refurbishment of my 5 bedroom townhouse in Hove. The work was really extensive, including all electrics, plumbing, lighting, repair and reinstallation of the windows, total redecoration, new flooring, installation of a new kitchen and two new bathrooms, the creation of a large number of bespoke wardrobes, cupboards etc and all undertaken to a very tight timetable and achieved to very high quality standards with beautiful finishes and on time! From my perspective, even more impressive, all of this was achieved, with each of the various work-streams and trades effectively coordinated and project managed by Calum - while I as the client was several hundred miles away - with constant communication and progress videos. I never had to have a moments doubt or worry about what was happening and the progress being made and always felt kept totally in the loop. Calum and his team are not only expert craftsmen and builders, they each have a real artistic and design sensibility and are such very lovely people to deal with. It is worth adding that there were no unanticipated cost over-runs and I knew at each stage exactly what each piece of the work would cost. Anyone who is fortunate enough to find Hove Renovations free to take on their project have truly lucked out in the builders lottery. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They truly are stars.

Calum is likeable, friendly and easy to communicate with. He provided considered advice and options for the works needed to resolve the issues with our building. The works were completed in good time and it was clear at all stages that the quality of the repairs was a priority. I would have no hesitation in engaging him again.

We asked Calum to quote for some work at a property we're planning to buy, and he was super-professional and friendly. We asked him to quote using a work list template we created (so we could easily compare with others) and he did exactly as we asked. We're not sure when our move will complete so haven't commited to a single firm at present, but Calum will certainly be near the top of out list if/when it goes through.
